11 dicembre 1968: i Rolling Stones mettono in scena, in una tenda da circo, a Londra, “The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus” e poi, per quasi trent’ anni, lasciano il progetto in un cassetto.
“The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus” è un album “live” inciso con altri famosi gruppi, tra cui i Jethro Tull e gli Who, pubblicato, con le riprese filmate, come detto, molti anni dopo, nel 1996.
